My Experience
Sergio Merida Hernandez
I am passionate about art in its broadest sense; from the great Master Painters to modern cinematic geniuses. I love music, literature, history and photography. I love to travel - further expanding and fuelling my passion for all things of artistic and historic importance and, of course, for food!
See below for my previous projects and experience.

Conservator
During my eight years with the company, I was involved in a number of extremely diverse projects;
from small private collections to large scale contracts within the public sector. My work, primarily,
was the conservation and restoration of objects in various mediums; stone, metals, plaster, wood,
ceramics, terracotta and murals. Additional responsibilities included the design and execution of
sculpture commissions, large-scale displays for major exhibitions, and strategic relocation of large
sculptures. I was appointed team leader for the work completed at Stirling Castle; a ten-month
project which involved the restoration of extensive ceiling and wall paintings using ancient
techniques such as egg tempera and trompe-l’oeil.
